Who are we?
The Gourmet Cupboard was started by a mother-daughter-team who enjoyed creating homemade food mix gifts for their friends. Encouraged by the positive reactions to those gifts, Judy and Melissa expanded to craft shows, and at last to their own business. They operate from a specially designed building that serves as kitchen, warehouse, and showroom in Sour Lake, Texas.
What are we?
The Gourmet Cupboard offers a wide variety of mixes, handmade for you – just as you would make -- to tempt a variety of palates as well as solve the “what’s for dinner” dilemma. Each one is handmade using only the finest ingredients. Most of our mixes contain no preservatives, msg or other chemicals.
From refreshing beverages, tantalizing dips, tasty soups and down-home main dishes and sides, as well as fabulous seasonings and, of course, tempting desserts, we offer you the ability to accent your meal plan or create dinner from start to finish. All you do is add a few ingredients from your pantry.
Diabetics and others concerned with sugar consumption have not been forgotten. You will be amazed by our “oh so delicious” sugar free mixes that utilize Splenda when there is a need to use a sweetener.
Are we expensive?
You will find our prices to be very reasonable or you can really stretch your food dollars by hosting a party. Everyone needs to eat and most love to buy when offered easy to prepare, delicious foods made with quality ingredients.
